Spin To Win #17: I Will Not Be At Bigsound

In case anyone was wondering. You probably weren't.

It’s been fascinating watching the world react to Oasis reforming. At first, I was pretty indifferent to the news. Oasis have never really been in my wheelhouse, though ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ is a truly undeniable song. However, some of the sneering, better-than-thou op-eds that have been rolled out recently (this one chief among them) have made me reconsider my position.

I’m now actively invested in the success of this mega-tour that will net the Gallagher brothers hundreds of millions of dollars, a fact that I am sure has nothing to do with it. I wish the Gallagher brothers the best of luck, and may the reunion stick — so everyone can ‘ave it large at an Oasis show in 2025 and beyond. My Year 12 English teacher was massively into them, and we got along just fine, so I hope he gets a ticket.
