I promise you that this newsletter will not contain any discussion about Raygun. Instead, I spoke to the wonderful Becca Hatch about her debut EP, MAYDAY. Initially emerging as an R&B artist, this project veers more into the dance music lane, showcasing her versatility.

Across the project’s eight tracks, she’s got some serious speaker rattlers: ‘Bass Keeps Calling’ and ‘Think Of You’ are two of my favourite Australian singles of the year. I’m not going to muck around with a long introduction for this edition of the newsletter — scroll on to read our chat, as well as a couple of music/article recommendations that I’ve been digging.
