One of my favourite things about running my own newsletter is that I am unconstrained by word limits. The internet is infinite, after all, and the more bytes I can claim for my own writing/interviews, the better (OK, maybe that’s a bit self-indulgent).

Today’s edition of Spin To Win features a couple of artist interviews: chats with Eora artist YAGKI, and Wollongong/Dharawal Land artist SKUNK. I’ve paired these together because I think they follow similar themes — both artists talk about the importance of being true to yourself, and how art can help creatives be their most authentic selves. YAGKI’s just released her new single, ‘Just A Ghost’, which touches on her upbringing, while SKUNK’s ‘enby’ is an exploration of their gender identity.
